How to Viva Las Vegas with the Family

What happens in Vegas...will most definitely make it into your family photo album during this exciting trip for all ages.

While Vegas may be infamously known as Sin City, it is a treasure trove of activities, shows, and yes, buffets — making it an entertainment mecca for all ages. Transform your trip into a family travel experience you won’t soon forget with fun things to do for kids and adults alike.

FAMILY FUN NEAR THE STRIP

Dolphin Trainer 101 Experience
Get up close and personal with a flippered friend at Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat during the Dolphin Trainer 101 Experience. Work side by side with a Dolphin Care Specialist, participating in training while learning about these majestic creatures and conservation efforts. At the end, you’ll even interact with a dolphin in the water and take home a keepsake picture with your new pal to commemorate the experience.

Neon Nights at The Adventuredome
When the sun goes down, the fun comes up. On Fridays and Saturdays after dark, the Circus Circus Adventuredome — a five-acre indoor theme park — glows up in a major way. Ride light-up rides, play glowing carnival games, and see spectacular attractions for an evening brighter than neon. There are rides for both those over and under 48”, so all can play their own way.

Springs Preserve
Just three miles west of downtown Vegas you’ll find a quiet oasis. Springs Preserve has over 180 acres dedicated to nature walks and exhibits to protect the natural land while introducing others to the wonders of the desert. Crack open your own geode to discover the glittering inside, learn about desert dwelling critters, and get hands-on with nature through interactive experiences and special events.

Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
Superheroes, unite! See what it takes to be an Avenger and explore the Marvel cinematic universe at this interactive and educational Avengers exhibit. Get exclusive access to see an extensive array of authentic props and costumes from the films, including Captain America’s uniform and shield and Black Widow’s weapons. You can even learn the origins of the Avengers while training to become an official agent yourself.

WHERE TO EAT WITH KIDS IN VEGAS

The Tournament of Kings
This immersive dinner show experience at Excaliburtells the tale of King Arthur, complete with jousting knights riding noble steeds and fighting for honor. While you watch, dine on a hearty meal using your hands — the original utensils.

Hershey’s Chocolate World
We recognize this is a store but when your sweet tooth calls, there’s no better answer than chocolate. The flagship Hershey store is 13,000 square feet of sugary love, with interactive experiences woven throughout. Customize your own chocolate bars, star in a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup TV ad, and shop for your favorite sweet treats and Hershey gifts. Plus, don’t miss a photo opp with the Statue of Liberty — made from nearly 800 pounds of chocolate.

Wicked Spoon Buffet
Few places satisfy even the pickiest of eaters more than a buffet. Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitan serves up imaginative seasonal dishes along with familiar favorites for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch. The 21+ set can wake up with inventive brunch cocktails like the Hot Fuss (spicy Bloody Mary) and Mexican spiked coffee or opt for bottomless mimosas or Modelo. Kids ages 5 – 10 eat for half price, and little tykes under age five nibble for free.

Enjoy 800 Hershey’s chocolates and candies
Buffets are perfect for picky eaters

KID-FRIENDLY VEGAS SHOWS

Blue Man Group
The Blue Man Group show at the Luxor is a true classic, combining music, comedy, and surprises into a multi-sensory experience. Watch the three Blue Men discover our world in a comical manner filled with percussion and color. For extra fun, sit in the “Poncho Section”, where you’ll don a plastic poncho in case materials splash off stage a few feet away.

David Copperfield Magic
Join famed magician David Copperfield for an intimate evening of astounding illusion. If you’re lucky, you may be selected to participate in his trickery — and perhaps disappear for a moment yourself. Prepare to be blown away by magical mysteries that will have you saying How did he do that?! long after the curtain has closed.

Jabbawockeez
Voted "Best Family Show" and "Best All Ages Show” for three years in a row, Jabbawockeez knows how to please. With intricate dance moves and choreography set to pulse-pounding music and special effects, the signature white-masked crew will keep the entire family more than entertained.
