Scene and Heard: A Day at the Races
Here, we share a few highlights from The Club’s VIP Member Event on August 22, 2020 at the Monticello Motor Club in partnership with BMW.
“Everyone felt like a kid again,” Exclusive Resorts Experience Manager Moni Szabolcs, said about the VIP Member Event at Monticello Motor Club on August 22, 2020. Szabolcs welcomed 50 Members to the private auto club for a half-day of driving on the famed 4.1-mile track, featuring 22 unique turns, 12 configurations, and 1.5 miles of adrenaline-fueled straights.
The latest experiential addition to The Club’s suite of VIP Benefits, the Monticello Motor Club is tucked away in the Catskills, just a 90-minute drive from New York City. During the event, Members enjoyed exclusive access to BMW’s M2, M240, M4, M5, and M8. From autocross competitions to drag racing, drivers tested boundaries—and speed limits—while gleaning tips and tricks from MMC’s team of professional instructors.
The first Member event since the COVID-19 pandemic, Exclusive Resorts worked in partnership with MMC and BMW to ensure the track’s new health and safety protocols were enforced, limiting the open-air sessions to just 25 Members and deeply sanitizing vehicles and driving equipment after each use.
