Inside is the New Outside

Eat, sleep, relax, and play — without ever leaving your Club residence — with our top picks for a safe city "staycation.”

Desperately need to escape your home without leaving home? Try a city staycation. Our apartments in San Francisco, New York, and Chicago are open (with extra safety protocols) to ensure you’re safe and pampered during your stay. So, pack your suitcase (finally!) and indulge in a change of scenery, even if just for a night — because breakfast in bed tastes better when you're not the one making it.

San Francisco, CA

Where you'll stay
The Club’s two-bedroom luxury residences at Fairmont Heritage Place in Ghirardelli Square offer stunning views of Alcatraz and the Bay or the surrounding neighborhood through floor-to-ceiling windows. Cozy up to the gas fireplace on foggy days, or easily explore the city from the chauffeured house car.

What you'll eat
While indoor and outdoor dining is making its slow return, this foodie city offers a plethora of delivery and takeout options to satisfy every eater. The Crenn Kit Luxe from Michelin-starred restaurant Atelier Crenne makes preparing your own unique meal a snap. Simply pick up your box of ingredients and follow assemblage and plating instructions led by their team over video. For a private dining-out experience, Birdsong, well-known for their 11-course tasting menus inspired by the season, offers a small private dining room to accommodate six to ten guests — perfect for special occasions.

If you prefer to leave the cooking to the professionals but you’re not quite ready to dine out, the Concierge will happily arrange a private chef to prepare a meal tailored specifically to your food preferences in the comfort of your residence.

What you'll do
While Wine Country isn’t far away, experience the fine art of wine tasting and education from your safe sanctuary at the Fairmont. Quintessa’s virtual, thirty-minute personal tasting experience includes a half bottle of 2017 Quintessa alongside their partner white wine, Illumination, and is hosted at your leisure via Zoom.

Ready to get your heart pumping? Enter the virtual Red Room for a Barry’s Bootcamp at-home workout. Utilizing your bodyweight, bands, or dumbbells, you’ll get a full body burn right there in the living room. No shoes? No problem — your Concierge can arrange delivery for workout apparel and equipment straight to your door.

Post-workout (or post- anything really), let the spa come to you. Indulge in an in-residence single or couple’s massage for 60, 90, or 120 minutes of pure bliss.

Chicago, IL

Where you'll stay
The Club’s five coveted two-bedroom, three-bath luxury residences (all with identical floor plans) in the Trump International Hotel and Tower. Located on floors 20 to 25, each apartment features spectacular 180-degree views of the Chicago River, Lake Michigan, and the Wrigley Building.

What you'll eat
Bill Kim (the acclaimed chef behind Urbanbelly) has spent the pandemic steadily expanding operations at Chef Bill Kim’s Pizza & Parm Shop, his new delivery-only restaurant. He’s now offering a selection of Detroit-style pizzas and chicken parmesan in entree and sandwich form from outposts in Wicker Park and suburban Oak Brook. Order online via DoorDash or build-your-own Chicago pizza, with Gino’s take-home kit which comes stocked with all the ingredients — and simple instructions — you need to create a traditional deep-dish or thin-crust pizza at home.

In the mood for something more elegant? Arrange for a private in-suite chef experience or order off the hotel’s 24-hour room service menu.

What you'll do
Get active during your staycation with a private personal training session at the hotel’s state-of-the-art fitness center or spend an hour doing laps in the 75-foot heated indoor swimming pool (one-hour reservations for both the fitness club and swimming pool should be scheduled in advance). Your trainer will work with you to fully personalize your session according to your body and your needs.

Relax and unwind with a body treatment or wellness massage at the 23,000-square-foot on-site spa. Prepare dry, winter skin for spring and summer with the Citrus Drench Body Treatment, a scrub and wrap combo utilizing the intensely hydrating and healing properties of Shea butter, rose hip oil, and antioxidant vitamins C and E.

New York City, NY
