Discover indelible July 4th celebrations with The Rosewood Collection.

Rosewood Miramar, California

The coastal enclave known as the American Riviera is aptly named and ideally poised for a laidback July 4th escape. A Member favorite among The Club’s Rosewood Collection properties, this seaside sophisticate (Miramar means “to behold the sea”) is staging festive holiday happenings for the whole family.

The Scene: From the beachy porte-cochère to the ocean-inspired décor and local art found throughout, The Rosewood Miramar is well-known for its keen sense of style. Unwind on the ocean-facing Great Lawn (bare feet encouraged!) with an Apérol spritz and a game of corn hole, then refuel with freshly shucked oysters and the catch of the day at Miramar Beach Bar. This local favorite draws a tony local Montecito and Santa Barbra crowd in addition to visiting locals.

The Experience: Commemorate the 4th of July with the resort’s special Coastal Cookout and BBQ, held on the Great Lawn. Enjoy family-friendly summer events like the Stars & Smores at the Oak Tree Firepit, beachside activities, and the resort’s limited-edition “Co-Author Cocktail Series,” which features master mixologists from Washington D.C.’s Allegory Bar.

The Stay: Rosewood Miramar Beach is situated on a remote oceanfront stretch of Montecito. Single-story, 720-square-foot Garden Bungalow suites hug lush landscaping and feature cozy fireplaces and living rooms as well as inviting terraces for indoor-outdoor living.

Rosewood Washington, D.C.

The Scene: Your boutique headquarters easily accesses the historical significance of the city.  Offered via the Rosewood, the Mount Vernon Biking Tour is a private summer bucket-list experience, in which you’ll travel by bike from the resort to Mount Vernon, the plantation home of George Washington (lunch is enjoyed along the way).

The Experience: On Independence Day, Mount Vernon holds a special summer celebration for visitors, including seeing the estate's museums, enjoying stellar views from the piazza, walking the gardens, and visiting the final resting place of George and Martha Washington. If American baseball is more your speed, The Washington Nationals play at Nationals Park on July 4th. Cap the day at Cut restaurant by Wolfgang Puck, which is D.C.’s finest rooftop perch for watching the fireworks define the city skyline.

The Stay: Located in the heart of Georgetown along the historic C&O Canal, Rosewood Washington, D.C. easily accesses the epicenter of the U.S. capital.
