An Ace Weekend: The Club's French Open Experience
Exclusive Resorts hosted an intimate group of 21 Members in Paris to celebrate The French Open from the front row.
Day 1
Bonjour from Paris! The city of lights welcomed 21 of our esteemed Members with a drizzle, setting a cozy, romantic scene for the thrilling days ahead. The excitement kicked off with a private dinner at the prestigious 3-star Michelin restaurant, Alléno Paris. Members were treated to a six-course tasting menu, paired with classic French wines and champagne. The highlight? A visit from the legendary chef Yannick Alléno himself, whose culinary mastery left a lasting impression. Our Members relished the intimate atmosphere, engaging in lively conversations and soaking up the culinary magic. To cap off the evening, a detailed briefing prepared everyone for the matches ahead. Back in their hotel rooms, Members found Roland Garros tote bags, Exclusive Resorts branded Peter Millar quarter-zips, hats, and emergency travel kits.
Day 2
Despite the rain, spirits were high as Members enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at The Peninsula Paris. The anticipation was tangible as they headed to the famed Roland Garros stadium. Sitting in the front row box on center court, they were perfectly positioned to experience every powerful serve and lightning-fast rally up close. The rain couldn’t dampen the thrill of watching world-class tennis. Members were thrilled with their prime seats, which offered an immersive view of the action. They could practically high-five the players as they came to towel off between points!
Day 3
The day began with breakfast at The Peninsula, where Members excitedly discussed the previous evening's matches. The weather cleared, and they set off in classic 2CV cars for a whimsical tour of Paris. Each couple enjoyed a private ride, exploring their favorite parts of the city at their own pace. The tour concluded with a delightful three-course lunch at the ivy-covered courtyard of Plaza Athénée Hotel.
Energized and ready for more tennis, Members returned to Roland Garros for an evening session. Dinner in the hospitality suite included special guests Benito Perez Barbadillo, Rafael Nadal’s PR Manager, and Gustavo Marcaccio, one of Rafa’s coaches. They shared fascinating stories about Nadal's career and insights into the evolving tennis scene.
Day 4
Members gathered for a final breakfast at The Peninsula Paris, reminiscing about the weekend’s incredible moments. With check-out complete, they embarked on private transfers to their next destinations. Some chose to extend their Parisian adventure with more tennis and tours. As we bid farewell to a weekend filled with spectacular tennis, gourmet dining, and unforgettable experiences, only one question lingered: When is the next Grand Slam?
