Los Cabos has fast become Mexico's top go-to for its beaches, iconic landmarks, decadent spas, and immaculate golf courses. Blending old-world charm with modern-day luxury, its vibrant arts and culture scene is equally of note. After traveling from New York to Los Cabos, she and her friends were escorted by the Esperanza team to an outdoor dining area overlooking the ocean for welcome drinks and a sampling of local cuisine. “The view was breathtaking,” says Fantozzi. “As the sun shined over the azure waves hitting the rocks, it was a reminder of the simple joys of life: good food, great friends, and a stunning view. It was a moment of pure bliss where we could finally unwind, laugh, and soak up the beauty of our surroundings. That first meal set the tone for the rest of our trip.”

Traveling with her closest, longtime friends, she and her group have been planning an annual girls vacation for 10-plus years now in an effort to deepen their bond. Resultantly, the trips are a testament to enduring friendships and special connections strengthened through travel. Over a long weekend, the group of women and admitted foodies tasted their way through Los Cabos. They also made the most of coastal living: lazy afternoons lounging by the resort pool, a sunset charter cruise, and plenty of beach time. Boutique and gallery hopping also topped their itinerary, as Esperanza is far enough removed to feel supremely private yet also positioned to easily dive into Los Cabos culture. Every moment, from the food to the sunset sail, made our girls trip incredibly special. While swimming in the pool on our last day, we made a promise to each other to always continue our annual trip, no matter what life throws our way.”

As a foodie, Los Cabos is one of Brittany Fantozzi’s favorite culinary destinations. “The Los Cabos culinary scene is nothing short of extraordinary,” she says, “offering a diverse array of flavors that capture the essence of the region.”  Here are her top three culinary recommendations:

• The seasoned shrimp bowl at La Palapa is a standout. My little hack to enhance this dish is to order a side of hot sauce and tortillas, turning the meal into a fun, DIY taco experience (of course paired with a spicy margarita!).   
• Edith's Restaurant downtown has a vibrant atmosphere and outstanding seafood, complemented by a mariachi band playing “La Bamba” tableside. We got a peek at Edith’s private wine cellar, which houses a special private dining room.  
• The daily breakfast at Cocina del Mar was also fantastic, featuring my favorite: gourmet avocado toast and fresh fruit.
