JOB SUMMARY:

As a key leader in the Experiential Collection Team, the Product Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering itineraries & experiences for Exclusive Resorts’ Private Travel Collection. This position is focused on supporting, enhancing, and growing the Club’s Private Travel product offering, through development of new trips, revamping exiting trips, and streamlining processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Responsible for strategy and management of the Private Travel department

·       Evaluates exiting partnerships and product offerings, and designs new Private Travel Journeys & experiences for Club Members

·       Manages partner/vendor relationships

·       Works with the Finance team to establish annual budget goals for the department

·       Prices Journeys & Experiences in collaboration with Finance team, ensuring that margin targets are achieved, while also maximizing value for Members

·       Responsible for negotiating contracts, and working with the Legal department to ensure partner/vendor agreements are kept up to date

·       Collaborates with the Marketing Team to develop and review Member communications & collateral

·       Reviews and ensures all information on the Source (Member website) is accurate and up to date

·       Prepares and presents destination and product training to the Member Services team

·       Presents Private Travel updates at department and company meetings

·       Researches and maintains a growing knowledge of industry products, innovations, destinations, and vendors

·       Attends & represents Exclusive Resorts at travel industry conferences

·       Provides best in class Customer Service that exceeds Members’ expectations.

·       Ensures team and company goals are met, including trip survey satisfaction scores and financial targets

·       Researches and resolves customer service issues appropriately – address, troubleshoots and resolves Members concerns when required

·       International & domestic travel is expected – estimated at four to six trips per year

DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS:

·       Work with the Experience Collection team on development & management of Once in a Lifetime Journeys, Events, and European Villas

·       Assist the Experience Collection team by brainstorming, researching, and presenting new product ideas

·       Conduct on-site inspections with partners for Once in a Lifetime Journeys, Events, and European Villas, in order to finalize itineraries

·       Facilitate the billing process

·       Involvement in Member newsletters production

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       7-10 years of experience in travel or hospitality industry, is required

·       3-5 years working directly with DMC’s

·       Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, is preferred

·       Solid contract negotiation and vendor management experience

·       Strong business acumen with a commercial mindset

·       Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances

·       Must be detail oriented with highly professional written and verbal communication skills

·       Must be able to build trust and credibility with members, co-workers and vendors

·       Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office products, including Excel
